If you prefer to cruise, we recommend a couple of choice lines to visit Hawaii from the US mainland between September and April:

Princess: Roundtrip Los Angeles and San Francisco

4 days enjoying four Hawaiian ports

Day in Ensenada or other Mexico port to satisfy US Government regulations

NCL Pride of America

Roundtrip Honolulu: All Year

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is the only line allowed to do Hawaii-only cruises (without having to visit a foreign port)

7 nights --- Saturday to Saturday:

Saturday: Honolulu embark
Sunday: Maui
Monday: Maui
Tuesday: Hilo - East side of the Big Island
Wednesday: Kona - West side of the Big Island
Thursday: Kauai
Friday: Kauai and Napali Coast
Saturday: Honolulu AM disembark

Trans-Pacific Crossings: April, May & October

Major lines that visit the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia include Honolulu and some other Hawaiian ports as they reposition to/from these North America cities:
