HAWAII
State of Hawaii - Transpacific Arrivals
- 1) Self-quarantine 10 days, OR...
- 2) Negative COVID test result within 72 hours:
- Applies to Oahu, Maui and the Big Island (NOT Kauai).
- Test must be taken within 72 hours of passenger's Transpacific flight departure time.
- Travelers must have their negative test results prior to boarding their Transpacific flight to the Hawaiian Islands.
- Anyone who arrives without such proof will be required to self-quarantine for 10 days regardless if a negative test result is received after arrival.
- Tests will NOT be provided at Hawaii airports for arriving passengers; they must be taken prior to departure from the mainland.
- Tests must be performed by a Hawaii-approved lab.

- Self-quarantine is not allowed in short-term rentals and vacation rentals.
- Under self-quarantine, you will not be allowed to leave the room at your place of lodging under any circumstances, except for a medical emergency or to depart the state.
- Travelers are not allowed to rent a car in Hawai‘i for the duration of their self-quarantine.
- Travelers who violate the terms of the 10-day mandatory self-quarantine will be prosecuted and may face fines of up to $5,000 and one year in prison.
- Face coverings are required outdoors when official physical distancing guidelines cannot be maintained. Face coverings must be worn at all times indoors except when you are eating and/or drinking.
Inter-Island Travel
Arrivals to Kauai, Big Island and Maui from any other Hawaiian island:
- 1) Self-quarantine 10 days, OR...
- 2) Negative COVID test result within 72 hours before departure to the next island
- 3) Big Island only: Self-quarantine after arrival until negative COVID test result from a HawaiiSafe approved lab
- Does NOT apply to trans-Pacific travelers connecting through Honolulu Airport on O‘ahu.
No restrictions for arrivals to Oahu (Honolulu) from any Hawaiian island.

- In addition to the state's entry requirements, all travelers must download and use the HawaiiSafe Alert app.
- Coming Soon: Covid antigen rapid test will be required upon arrival for all passengers. This is in addition to the state's required negative test to board your Hawaii-bound flight.

- US: November 1st - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a Conditional Sail Order that introduces a phased approach for the safe and responsible resumption of passenger cruises. The Order establishes a framework of actionable items for the cruise line industry to follow so they can resume passenger operations with an emphasis on preventing the further spread of COVID-19 on cruise ships and from cruise ships into communities, and to protect public health and safety.
- Canada: All Canadian ports are closed to cruise ships until February 28th 2022. This means all Alaska cruises and Canadian New England cruises for 2021 are effectively cancelled.
